1. How to apply for a consortium scholarship and who can apply?
There is no specific application document to fill out to be considered for a Consortium Scholarships. As long as you submit your application before January 31st 23:59 CET of the ongoing year, you will be considered for it. Students from all countries can apply for consortium scholarships. Please check this page for details about the number and rules for allocating consortium scholarships.
2. When will you tell me the result of my application for a consortium scholarship?
Consortium scholarships results will be decided during the selection committee (usually in March). If you are selected as a self-funded student after the first round of application (ending on January 31st), you may receive a scholarship if one of the selected Consortium Scholarship Holders drops out. Please note that this upgrade is not guaranteed and relies on other students' withdrawals. You will be notified by email in case of an upgrade.
3. What is the latest date for a possible upgrade from the waiting list to the main list?
Your scholarship status may be upgraded at any time until September, when the programme starts.
4. I see that JEMARO is an Erasmus Mundus Master, will there be Erasmus Mundus Scholarships for the 2024-2026 intake ?
JEMARO was selected in 2019 as Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, with a grant to cover 4 intakes of students' scholarships. The last intake to receive Erasmus Mundus Scholarships under EU funding is the intake 2023-2025. In the event of a new call for EMJM proposal, our consortium will apply to renew its funding starting with the 2025-2027 intake, but neither the call for proposal, nor proposal selection are guaranteed at this stage.
