A fruitful consortium meeting

JEMARO coordinators and staff from Centrale Nantes, Keio University, University of Genoa and Warsaw University of Technology gathered in order to draw first conclusions after the selection and admission processes of the Erasmus Mundus programme.

During the meeting, the impact of covid-19 pandemic on the programme was of course covered, resulting in the common decision to start courses online and to put a special care in answering the incoming 12 JEMARO students questions and needs. JEMARO first batch will welcome students from Japan, Russia, USA, Spain, Turkey and Tunisia. Following the EACEA recommendations, the consortium will work on developping even more the diversity of origins of its students and attracting more European students for the next intake.

For now the hosting institutions are focusing on preparing the arrival of their new students and organizing an online orientation event in October gathering all students and staff involved in the programme, which will be the very first step in building a JEMARO community.
