Warsaw University of Technology hosts the 2024 JEMARO Days

JEMARO Days, 2024 edition! After last year edition in Genoa, this year the JEMARO DAYS were held at Warsaw University of Technology in Poland from 8 July to 12 July.

Warsaw University of Technology organized the event over 5 days, welcoming JEMARO students and staff, but also alumni and invited professors.

The intake 4 students, who have just completed their first year of Master's studies in Europe, teamed up for a fun robotic challenge in groups of four or five, the perfect occasion for some of them to meet for the first time! Indeed, during their first year on the programme, JEMARO students are dispatched across the 3 European partner institutions (Centrale Nantes in France, University of Genoa in Italy and Warsaw University of Technology in Poland) and only get to form a single group when they all go to Keio University for their second year on the programme.




The assembly could also count on the participation of Victor Taylor, an invited professor in the programme, Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Smart Locus Inc, a compagny based in California, USA, with a conference on lessons learned in robotics, as well as several presentation from our alumni about their work, their phds, or master's thesis. A true chance for our students to exchange together and why not find an idea for their thesis next year.

It has been 5 years already that the EACEA selected JEMARO as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree, and as the grant agreement is coming to an end, it was time to review all the actions done through the programme, but also for the Consortium to discuss the future of the project.
